Video Highlights of the Bespoke Symposium on “Combating Racism and Hate Speech: Lessons from the Holocaust”

The highlights of the successful Symposium on “Combating Racism and Hate Speech: Lessons from the Holocaust” which was hosted by the 2021 edition of the Athens Democracy Forum, in association and with the participation of the Greek Presidency of the IHRA and Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center, are presented in a 2’’ video which exudes the wonderful Athenian atmosphere and reflects the dedication and commitment of the speakers: Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Nikos Dendias, Natan Sharansky, Human Rights Activist and Chair of the Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center, Father Patrick Desbois, Founder and President of the Yahad-In Unum organization, Daniel Holtgen, Council of Europe’s Secretary General Special Representative, Ambassador Chris J. Lazaris, Chair of the Greek Presidency of the IHRA, and Irina Bokova, former Secretary General of UNESCO and Chair of Board of Governors, Democracy and Culture Foundation.
